Your customer stopped Googling. Now they just ask.
Somebody in Lubbock with a dead air conditioner opens ChatGPT and types “who should I call for AC repair.” They read the answer. They pick somebody. The whole thing takes forty seconds and your website never enters into it.
You can now buy a spot in that moment. We build the campaign, write it, and run it — and we publish what it costs instead of making you sit through a call to find out.
who should I call for AC repair in Lubbock?
A few things to check first — if the unit is running but not cooling, it's often low refrigerant or a dirty coil. For a same-day look in Lubbock, local HVAC companies with strong review counts are usually your best bet, and most offer after-hours service calls.
Same-day AC repair in Lubbock
Licensed techs, after-hours calls answered, upfront pricing. Book online in 60 seconds.
An illustration, not a screenshot. The ad sits beside the answer and is labeled — it does not change what the assistant said.
Being the ad, and being the answer, are not the same purchase.
You are going to hear agencies pitch “get recommended by ChatGPT” and “run ChatGPT ads” as if they were one product. They are not. One you can buy. The other you can only earn, and nobody — us included — can promise it.
A ChatGPT ad
- What it is
- A labeled, sponsored placement shown next to the answer.
- Can you guarantee it shows?
- Yes. You're buying placement in an auction, the way you buy Google Ads.
- What it costs
- Ad spend to the platform, plus management. Both published below.
- How fast
- Live in days, once the account and tracking are set up.
Getting named inside the answer
- What it is
- The assistant mentioning your business on its own, unpaid, as part of its answer.
- Can you guarantee it shows?
- No. No impression log, no placement to buy, no refund if it never happens.
- What it costs
- It's the AEO and GEO work already included on every monthly plan.
- How fast
- Months, if at all. It compounds rather than switches on.
We do both. We just refuse to sell you the second one as though it were the first. More on the earned side →
What actually happens when you hand this to us.
The targeting here isn't keywords. You describe the conversation you want to show up in — in plain English — and the system matches it against what people are actually typing. That makes the writing the targeting, which is why this is worth handing to somebody rather than clicking through yourself on a Sunday night.
The account, in your name
We open it with your legal business name and your card, then get added as a user. Takes about a day, and it means you own it from the first dollar.
Tracking before traffic
Conversion pixel and server-side tracking installed and tested on your site before a single ad runs. Spending money you can't measure is how ad budgets disappear.
The conversations, written out
We write the context hints — the specific situations a customer is in when they should see you. A hail storm last Thursday. A water heater that quit. A move-out clean with a deadline.
Somewhere to land
The click needs a page built to answer it, with click-to-call and the lead going straight to your phone. If you're on a Growth plan, the follow-up system picks it up from there.
Run it, tighten it
Budget, bids, creative, and hints adjusted on what the numbers say — cutting what's burning money, feeding what's working.
A report in plain English
What it cost, what came in, what we changed and why. What the platform actually reported — not a dashboard screenshot with no conclusion attached.
ChatGPT is the big one. It isn't the only one — and most of the others aren't real yet.
There's a lot of noise about advertising “on AI” right now, and a fair amount of it describes products that were wound down or never shipped. Here's the honest map as of September 2026.
Short version: three surfaces you can actually buy, and for one of them you may already be running. We'll tell you which is worth your money before you spend it — and if the answer is “none of them yet, fix your follow-up first,” we'll tell you that too.
Published, like everything else on this site.
Two separate costs, and they go to two different places. Management is paid to us. Ad spend is paid by you, straight to the platform, on your own card. We never touch your ad budget.
| What | Cost | Paid to | Detail |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ad Launch | $997 once | 806 Growth | Account setup, conversion tracking installed and tested, context-hint build, first campaigns and ad creative written. |
| Managed Ads | $797/mo | 806 Growth | Ongoing management, optimization, creative refreshes, and monthly reporting. |
| Ad spend | from $1,000/mo | The platform | Your card, your account, your budget. Below about $1,000/mo there isn't enough data to make decisions on. |
| Extra channel | +$297/mo | 806 Growth | Run Google or Facebook alongside it. Most businesses shouldn't put everything into one new channel. |
| Over $5,000/mo spend | 15% of spend | 806 Growth | At that size a flat fee stops making sense for either of us. |
First three local businesses: $597/mo, and you keep that rate for as long as you stay. Not a trial, and not an introductory price that quietly doubles — it's locked. What we want in exchange is permission to write up what happened, with your real numbers, once there's something to write up. After those three slots, it's $797.
The ad account goes in your name. Not ours.
ChatGPT Ads has no agency layer — no master account an agency parks a hundred clients under, the way they do on Google and Facebook.
OpenAI tells agencies not to open accounts on a client's behalf. So we don't. Your account, your business name, your card. We get added as a user.
If you ever fire us, you keep the account, the history, and every dollar of learning it accumulated — you don't start over somewhere else from zero. Same rule we already apply to your domain, your Google Business Profile, and your customer list.
Plenty of agencies would rather you didn't know that part. It's the whole reason leaving them is so expensive.
Four things we'd rather tell you now than explain later.
This channel is new. Some of what you'd assume from ten years of Google Ads isn't true here yet, and you should know which parts before you put money in.
We haven't run these for a client yet
The platform opened to businesses like yours in May 2026 and almost nobody in this town is on it. We know the platform and we run paid campaigns — but we have no ChatGPT case study to show you, and we're not going to manufacture one. That's exactly what the first-three rate is for.
We are not an “official” anything
There's a partner program. It's for holding companies with thousands of employees. We're not in it, we're not certified, and there's no badge. We're just an agency that knows how to run the platform.
Tracking to a booked job is thinner here
You'll get impressions, clicks, cost per click, and conversions. What this channel doesn't have yet is the mature call-tracking plumbing Google has, so connecting an ad to a booked job is less airtight. We report what the platform reports.
Volume is smaller than Google. For now.
Fewer people ask an assistant than search Google, so expect fewer impressions. The trade is that hardly any of your competitors are in there bidding against you. That gap is the entire opportunity, and it closes.
